About GO — What we believe
Three values, and one message.
GO Movement is a collaboration across many churches and traditions. What we hold in common is the Gospel, and the conviction that ordinary believers should be the ones carrying it.

What the movement runs on.

Share the Gospel
The message only travels when somebody says it out loud. Everything the movement builds exists to make that one moment easier.

Point to Jesus
Not to a programme, a personality or an organisation. The whole point of a conversation is the person it leads to.

Reach the world
Everyone can reach someone. Together we can reach the world. That is the arithmetic the entire movement runs on.

Mark 16:15
One word. The whole brief.

What we believe about the Gospel
God's Story — the message exactly as we teach it.
These are the four movements used in the 3 Steps training to explain the Gospel, with the verses that carry each one. This is the message every conversation is aiming at.

God loves me.
God loves people so much that from the very beginning His plan was to have a relationship with us. Everything was perfect: no wars, no sickness, no injustice.
“God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.”

I live apart from God.
People chose to turn away from God and do things their own way. This brought guilt and separation. We see the effects: conflict, lies, jealousy, sickness, war. The biggest problem is that this guilt separates us from God forever, and there is nothing we can do to fix it ourselves.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

Jesus gave everything for me.
Because He loves us, God sent His Son. Jesus took our guilt upon Himself when He died on the cross, and God forgave us. On the third day Jesus rose from the dead, just as He said He would. He is alive today, and through Him the way back to God is open.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son.”

Will I choose to follow Jesus?
Jesus has restored the relationship between us and God. We can choose to live with God by accepting this gift through faith.
“If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
One more thing worth saying
The power is not in the messenger.
The power to change lives comes from the Gospel and the Holy Spirit. Our role is to share the message clearly and authentically, because people can only respond if they have heard it.
